The Markowitz family, the founders of Markowitz Properties, purchased homes from them in the 1950s and 60s.
Opel Herman left the company in 1947 to start a brokerage company with his son. The Oppenheim Real Estate Company started changing all properties when it merged with Kent Management Corporation to change real estate brokers. The major companies were still the same fifty years later.

In 1976, the company became master sales agent for the Mosaic project. This was the biggest real estate project in the U.S. When Oppenheim acquired the United Realty Securities, Inc. they were able to produce more homes in California. The company also created success in 1978 when they managed catering to the Beverly Hills Hotel for water, mail and storage services.
